Change of Accounting Reference Date

 

The Board of Minco plc has changed the accounting reference date of the Company from 30 April to 31 December. This is to align the Company's accounting reference date with certain of its subsidiary companies which own and operate the majority of the Company's operations which are registered in countries where the statutory accounting reference date is 31 December.

 

Minco will release interim results for the six months ended 31 October 2004 by 31 January 2005 and final results for the period 1 May 2004 to 31 December 2004 by 30 June 2005.
